But on record, what they are doing is much more slippery, tuneful hooks emerging through a welter of cross harmonies. “I think we’re still figuring out our vibe and learning how to make what we hear in our heads, and that takes time,” says Danielle. The album was supposed to be released earlier in the year to capitalise on the growing buzz but it wasn’t ready.
